Sjoerd and I sailed some more after the reaces on Sunday and he saw me fly and did the same himself when we swapped boat. With the new J-boards we can sail often sail deeper than with the conventional baords. (unfortunately no pics).
We have found no weak spots of the J-boards against the C-boards only a few plus points.
Before the event we had some good practicing with downwind trapezing. Sjoerd and myself improved a lot but it is a steep learning curve. If you do it right you gain a lot but it is easy to sail wrong angles.
Next year no Event in Murcia as we will be in New Zealand for the Worlds but we will defintely go back in 2015. The Mar Menor is an excellent sailing spot and CAR offers wonderful facilities and great food.
Next event for us will be the Vele di Pasquq in Cesenatico, Sjoerd, Arno, PJ and Roeland will go.
We all will go to French Nationals In Hyeres as well. That promises to be a great event with lost of competitors.
